It is Thursday again ALREADY!!! There is a lot to be said for the saying "Time flies when you get old." LOL Time has flown by this week. I did manage to get a card done for the techniques. This one is called "Thumping" This is such a fun technique. It works really well if you were a drummer...LOL
Here are the directions:
“Thumping” Marker Style
Supplies:
Matte or Glossy cardstock
Solid (Bold) stamps of your choice
Stamp pad of your choice
1-3 marker colors of your choice (I prefer Tombow markers)
Ink stamp really well with your ink pad. Starting with the lightest color of marker first; thump onto the inked stamp. Repeat with other colors of marker if you want multiple colors. You “thump” on the stamp with quick gentle pats, much like tapping a pencil on the table. After you have “thumped” your markers onto the inked image, huff on the image to moisten and stamp onto your cardstock. Gives a great tye dyed look to small stamps.
You can see that I "thumped" dark blue marker onto the red stamped image. It makes a great look. I hope you all get a chance to try it. Please share with me if you do.
Have a great day!!!!!!
